Sereact puts $110M behind its pitch for warehouse robotics that work in live operations
The German startup’s Series B was led by Headline, and Sereact says its software is already running in 50+ deployments with 100+ live systems across Europe and the US.
Sereact, a German robotic software startup, has announced a $110 million Series B led by Headline. The company builds AI software for autonomous robotics in warehouses, with its Cortex system designed to power picking, placing, sorting and inspection in production environments.
The pitch from Sereact is specific: this is not warehouse automation built for tightly controlled settings, but software meant to handle changing SKU mixes, shifting labor conditions and brownfield deployments. On its website, the company says one production model can run across those tasks without retraining or tuning, and that its system supports standard 6-axis robots as well as humanoid architectures.
Sereact is presenting itself as a company with real-world operating data behind that claim. It says it has logged more than 500 million real production picks, supports more than 100 live systems across Europe and the US, and delivers more than 99% pick success. The company also cites 50+ deployments and a customer list that includes operators such as Daimler Truck, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Österreichische Post, Material Bank, Rohlik Group and Sonepar.
That operating backdrop matters because Sereact is drawing a sharp line between its approach and older or narrower robotics systems. The company argues that traditional automation cannot adapt fast enough to the changing reality of industrial operations, and says most robotics AI still works only in controlled lab conditions. By contrast, Sereact describes its Vision Language Action Model as trained on millions of real-world picks and positions it as a production-ready AI brain for robots.
The funding announcement itself, published on Sereact’s site as “$110M Series B - led by Headline,” confirms the size of the round and its lead investor. In the provided website material, Sereact does not detail a specific breakdown for how the new capital will be deployed. What is clear from the company’s product and positioning is that it is building an AI layer for autonomous robotics focused on warehouse and fulfillment work, including robotic picking, putwall automation, returns handling, edge vision and humanoid applications.
For a robotics software company selling into fulfillment and industrial operators, the message behind the round is less about a single demo and more about production credibility. Sereact is using this financing announcement to point investors and customers to a record of live deployments, named enterprise users and a claim that its software can keep robots productive where warehouse conditions change every day.
