Paxos Labs Secures $12M Series A Led by Blockchain Capital
Paxos Labs will use the funding to expand its regulated blockchain infrastructure and enterprise financial solutions.
Paxos Labs, a developer of regulated blockchain solutions for enterprises, has announced the successful close of its $12 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Blockchain Capital, a prominent venture capital firm specializing in blockchain and crypto investments.
The funding will be directed toward scaling Paxos Labs' suite of blockchain-based financial products, which include stablecoin issuance, payments infrastructure, and crypto brokerage services. The company is known for its partnerships with major global enterprises, including PayPal, for whom it powers the PayPal USD (PYUSD) stablecoin.
Paxos Labs operates under stringent regulatory oversight, having secured key licenses such as a trust charter from the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) and a major payments institution license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. In 2025, it also became a federally regulated trust under the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), underscoring its leadership in compliant blockchain infrastructure.
The investment comes as the demand for enterprise-grade blockchain solutions continues to grow, particularly in areas like payments and tokenized assets. Paxos Labs positions itself as a trusted partner for businesses seeking to integrate blockchain technology without compromising on regulatory compliance or security.
With the new funding in place, Paxos Labs plans to accelerate product development and expand its global footprint, aiming to further its mission of building a more open and transparent financial system.
