Bouygues joins ProcurePro backers in Brisbane construction software Series A
QIC Ventures led the US$11 million Series A announced on May 11, with customer-turned-investor Bouygues joining the cap table as ProcurePro positions itself around AI-powered procurement control for construction.
ProcurePro, a Brisbane-based software company focused on construction procurement, has announced a Series A led by QIC Ventures, with French construction giant Bouygues investing after first becoming a customer. The deal summary lists the round at US$11 million, while ProcurePro’s website headline describes it as a $15 million raise.
ProcurePro sells procurement software for construction teams, spanning procurement scheduling, scope of works, tendering, price breakdowns, contract creation, vendor management, data and analytics, and AI tools including an AI CoPilot, AI Pricing Library and BidLevel, an AI bid-levelling product that says it can read supplier quotes and pull out pricing and exclusions in as fast as three minutes.
The company said the funding is aimed at delivering AI-powered procurement control for construction. QIC Ventures is the named lead investor, and Bouygues joining the cap table is notable because it comes from an existing customer rather than a purely financial backer. That gives the announcement a strategic angle: ProcurePro is adding an investor that also knows the product from the buyer side.
The market positioning in the source material is also clear. ProcurePro is not presenting itself as general procurement software. It is built specifically for construction workflows, with tools tied to tendering, subcontractor and vendor decisions, contracts, project learnings and pricing intelligence. Its integrations reinforce that focus, with connections to construction management platforms including Procore and Aconex, finance systems such as Viewpoint Jobpac and Cheops, and productivity tools including Microsoft Office and DocuSign.
That combination of construction-specific workflow software, AI features and integrations into established systems helps explain the shape of the round. ProcurePro is pitching control and visibility in a part of the construction process that is often document-heavy and fragmented. With QIC Ventures leading and Bouygues buying in, the company is pairing venture backing with validation from a major industry player already using the platform.
